Gisteren maar een mailtje naar de INZ gestuurd om te vragen of de laatste documenten goed ontvangen zijn. Ja, dat zijn ze. Fijn om te horen, hoe lang gaat het allemaal nog duren…? Ze zullen er ‘vrij snel’ klaar mee zijn. Hmm, rekbaar begrip, wat is ‘vrij snel’ in ambtenarenland?

I sent an e-mail to the INZ yesterday asking whether they received the documents alright. Yes, they did. That’s good to hear, and how long will everything take…? They expect to be finished ‘fairly soon’. Hmm, that’s open to interpretation, what is ‘fairly soon’ in civil servant land?
